PCI Compliance

As a response to the increase in credit card fraud and security breaches, the Card Associations (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) created standards to help merchants processing card payments minimize the threat of fraud through increased controls of credit card data and its exposure to potential compromises. Per the PCI Security Council, all merchants are required to certify they are in compliance with The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) on an annual basis.

Depending on how you process card payments, the requirements of compliance vary. NAMS dedicated staff is available to offer guidance and advice to your questions regarding achieving PCI compliance for your business.
